The Tech Table is a trade name for the different mold handling carousel tables Hi-Tech Engineering, Inc. manufactures. Mold handling carousel tables are designed for each customer that is interested in turnkey operation implementing both the dispensing machine and the mold handling mechanism. These mold handling carousel tables can be designed to be either continuously moving or indexing and have been built as large as 30 feet in diameter.
The Tech Clamp is a trade name for the different mold presses Hi-Tech manufacturers. The mold presses are equipped with many different features for easy production. Tilting, Booking, Vertical, Horizontal, and tonnage ranging from 10-80 tons with larger tonnage mold presses are also available.
The over and under conveyor is another option for mold handling. The conveyor is built in sections and can be easily shortened or lengthened. The mold handling conveyor is indexing it allows the part to go through a complete cycle while staying horizontal to the ground at all times. This is important for moldings with a raw material that has a very long cream time. For faster production a continuous mold handling conveyor can be designed in which the parts are poured while the mixhead travels along with the line. For production areas with limited floor space the over and under conveyor offers a very dependable solution.
The batch blending system is designed to mix a predetermined amount of solid material (glass, carbon black) into poly through a series of pumps and tanks. The material is loaded into a hopper which then transfers the solid material through a lift conveyor into a blending tank. After the mixture has been blended properly it is transferred into a holding tank where it is ready for processing in the RIM dispensing machine.
